Dear Future Government,

Narrator – 1 Narrator – 2

  • Prime minister walks into his office and sees a letter from the kids of Pt England School –

Prime minister : Hm? What is this interesting letter?

  • The Prime Minister continues to open up the letter and says “ohhh?”

Dear Future Government ,

On behalf of our school, we would like to thank you for everything you have done for us. But there are things that should be changed. Here are some things that us pt england students would like to share with you, that we think should change…

Things that are important to ( 11- 13 yr olds)

We might look tough and that negative things can’t hurt us, but these hurtful words can really affect our mental health. Which is a problem for a lot of people and could lead to depression and trust issues. This nonsense needs to stop because this is actually a thing that happens to people on a daily basis!

Issues that may be important to our parents, aunts, uncles and teachers.

A problem that may need to be solved is how older people have to take bigger responsibility by taking care of younger ones! But since the prices of most things have gone higher it may be hard. So this is one thing that needs to change back to its normal, Please make this happen!

Issues that may be important to people who are retired (65+)

For retired people they might also need support in what they do. For example they may need help with things with taxes, insurance, and more.

Issues that are important to toddlers.

Toddlers can be really picky and spoiled throughout their childhood which stresses the parents! Here’s some advice that us pt england students would like to share with you! First, You are doing an amazing job as our prime minister, all we ask is that you consider these things! Thank you, God Bless!

Your’s Truly, Pt England School.

Prime Minister: Wow! This letter is amazing,

This is my Maniakalani script. We had to make our own scripts that would help towards making our final Miniakalani film festival. For this task we also had to be put into groups of either 2 or 4. In my group we talked about the different things that needs to be changed in our country. This all would be put in our extension movie for this term! I hope you enjoyed my blog post! Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Maths Goals term4 23

Maths
To get to the next level I need to:

1. Be more prepared with my work and also facing new equations that I can learn.

2.  I can also move to different levels by seeing how different and other people find the answer’s of the same questions as me.

3. I can also write down notes to show me how I have done other math learning.

I can help myself by:

  • Learning new strategies and work
  • I can also take feedback from my pairs
  • I can even help myself by learning at home and using math with my everyday life.

This is my maths task for today. For my task I have had to set my goals for this term that I can use with math. I have enjoyed doing this task because I have got to show my ideas and ways to help me with my math for this term! In my maths task I have had to explain my ways on what I can do to help myself, and also different ways to get to the next level of maths. One of my highlights is how I have got to show my thinking of my math to yous for this term. I hope you have enjoyed my blog post of today. Please leave a positive comment on my blog, and I will show more of my learning in return!

Term 3 Literacy

This term Literacy was really fun because there were different task’s that had different meaning. Although there might have been bumps during this term with work it was really cool to learn more about the Dawn Raids, and other books like Thank you ma’am and so on. We have also been doing creat task’s and describing how our group discussions went! Sometimes we had rotations that included meeting with the teacher, having to do our follow up task’s, having a free choice in reading, and also completing our DLO.

One time we also had a task for writing where we had to make a speech. To me this idea off doing speeches was really fun because there were loads of different story’s that I either agreed with or disagreed with. We also read mostly relatable story’s and novels that had past 100 pages. Some other fun things that we got to do was make our own posters about country’s around the world. In this create task I chose the country of “Sierra Leone”. I chose this country because it was different from others and also had amazing facts about its country.

We also had to complete Literacy planet and other task’s involving read theory and epic. Things we had to also talk about in our group’s were what the authors message was and why did they write the story or text for. We also had to make connections in the story’s and compare opposite sides of the texts.

My Healthy and Balanced life style animation,

This is my DLO that I have been working on for the past 9 weeks! This DLO is about staying healthy and having a balanced lifestyle. I put alot of hard work into making this DLO! It was really fun to make because I got to make my own images! I hope you enjoyed this animation that I have made. Please leave a positive comment on my blog, Thank you!

Algebro 1

This is one of my maths task’s of the week. In this maths task we had to solve word equation’s. This was all fun because I also got to show my working out to find the answer’s. My one highlight was me learning different technique’s to use in math’s. My low light was how hard some questions were. One thing I can also work on is finding algebra in the questions. A way you can find algebra is to find the missing number or answer and that would equal a letter like for example “a” as the answer and the algebra clue.

Think before you post,

This is my cybersmart task for today. What I had to do was drag the different images to different topic or suggestions. The thinngs we had to choose for the pistures to go on were, If it is apropriate to share, And if it is not good to share you should keep it private. What I enjoyed was how I got to share my opinions. And what I didn’t enjoy was how it was a bit tricky because the things that I had to read didn’t really match to what I thought. This task also taught me to think before I share my things online and the internet. I hope you enjoyed my Blog post, Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Expressions 1 – Unknown Values

This is my maths task for today! This task is just a brain refresh about Algebra. What I enjoyed about this task is how I learnt new ways to find answers. What I didn’t really enjoy was how I was a bit stuck with the questions at the end but finally got to finish the task. I hope you enjoyed my blog post, Please leave a positive comment on my blog!

Thank you, Synergy Health!

Today we got gifted pedometers from Synergy Health! Pedometers are things that can count how many steps you take in a day! They are such an amazing gift! Thank you also to KPMG that partnered with them to send this gift to us Pt England students! So far we are really enjoying them! Thank you again for providing us KPMG on the day we came to your building! What I am enjoying about the Pedometers are how they can be able to count my steps! This way I can see how many steps I have done!  I hope you enjoyed my thank you note! Please leave a positive comment on my blog!

Sweet Nets

This is another maths task that I have completed! In this maths task I have had to mark Nets that I think will make a cube! I also had to make my own box for my cupcake. I enjoyed this task because I got to find out my score on my nets. I hope you enjoyed my blog post! Please leave a positive comment on my blog!
